Next month, catch PAYETTE’s Justin Miller and Sam Walusimbi discuss imaging suites and how design can improve the patient experience at this year’s Healthcare Facilities Symposium. The conference, held in Boston on September 17-19, will feature inspirational keynotes, case studies and instructional sessions from the perspective of architect, engineer, contractor and provider.

The Leading Edge in Design for Imaging
A rapid increase in procedures performed with imaging equipment is prompting room upgrades and procedure room conversations. MGH has recently completed a series of renovation projects that utilize innovative design techniques to respond to this evolving clinical landscape. In this session, learn how new strategies for the integration of radiation shielding were developed to minimize the disruption of adjacent spaces and its potential impact on the dimensions of the room.
