Charles joined PAYETTE in 2017 with over ten years of professional and academic experience. He is presently overseeing construction administration for Wesleyan University’s New Science Building. Having joined the team in schematic design, his dexterous and holistic contributions from design intent to rigorous technical execution bridge extensively across the project’s interior and exterior scope. Prior to Wesleyan, Charles played a key role in the design and delivery of the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Medicine addition. Further project contributions include UConn’s Science 1 Research Center, the DCAMM Department of Public Health renovation and the Hengqin Hospital Campus Master Plan. Charles also has a robust teaching resume focused on studio, thesis and design/build instruction at the Boston Architectural College, Northeastern and Auburn Universities. His welcome contributions as organizer and presenter at PAYETTE’s Architecture Forum align naturally with his integrated commitment to the conceptual, aesthetic and applied.
