
Julia Chapman, AIA, LFA, LEED Green Assoc., joined PAYETTE in 2025. Julia brings a wealth of architecture experience, including work on healthcare, educational, government and cultural projects. Prior to PAYETTE she worked at Ennead Architects in New York City for 10 years as an Associate Principal in a senior designer and project architect role. She has previous work experience at Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates and nARCHITECTS, and served as the Project Manager for the Structures of Coastal Resilience interdisciplinary research and design project funded by the Rockefeller Foundation. Julia is particularly interested in how architectural spaces can foster community and enhance the public realm. She combines a deep technical background, particularly in custom high-performance facades, with an ability to engage with clients and users to turn programmatic aspirations into inspiring design.
