The renovation and expansion of the Harvard Art Museums is a collaborative effort with Renzo Piano Building Workshop and PAYETTE. Earlier this month, PAYETTE’s Principal-in-Charge on this project, Charlie Klee, accompanied several journalists on a tour led by museums director Thomas W. Lentz. Recent articles covering the project’s progress provide an early look at the glass rooftop, which will diffuse light through the building’s central circulation and onto the Calderwood Courtyard as well as the distinctive Alaskan yellow cedar exterior.
The building is expected to open Fall 2014.
