Since opening in May 2014, the Milken Institute School of Public Health at George Washington University has caught the eye of many members of the GW community. Jim Collins has been invited to participate in the TEDx Foggy Bottom event, Think Next, where over 1,500 people from around the Foggy Bottom and DMV community will gather for a full-day experience for live presentation, performance, exhibits and collective collaboration.
In a talk entitled, Why do it that way? Jim will speak about challenging accepted norms and questioning the “comfortable” and “obvious” path as designers and as people.
