2016 AIA SAR Architecture for Health Conference

This year’s upcoming 2016 AIA South Atlantic Regional (SAR) Architecture for Health conference’s focus is on international practice and how global solutions can have a regional impact. To close out the conference on Friday, August 19, PAYETTE Principal and Healthcare Practice Leader Scott Rawlings will be a panelist discussing the essential principals for international practice.

Working overseas is a great opportunity to expand one’s firm portfolio and capabilities. Building relationships with local firms can increase the ability to win foreign projects, understand the culture and reduce risk to the firm. This two hour session starts with presentations from each of the panelists and continues with a discussion of the impacts and benefits of partnerships on international projects. The dialogue will include the importance of involving a local group to ensure a high level of quality in the construction documents, reduce environmental impacts and protect legal regulations of the project
