Jeff has been the Project Manager for several high-end biocontainment, imaging and specialized laboratory projects and is a frequent lecturer on the topic. Since joining Payette in 1999 he has worked on complex research projects for the University of Illinois, University of Pittsburgh, Boston College, Princeton University, Yale University, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Brandeis University and the Pennsylvania State University. He received his B.Arch. from Syracuse University and studied abroad in Florence, Italy. Prior to joining Payette he worked in Florence on cultural restoration and intervention projects in Pisa and Senegallia and was a visiting critic at Universita di Firenze.
The construction of full-scale mock-ups for undertaking medical simulations is an essential part of our design process.
Our in-house fabrication team, equipped with 3D printers, woodworking tools and CNC milling equipment, facilitates the creation of full-scale mock-ups of complex clinical spaces. We have found that mock-ups of spaces such as patient and operating rooms are invaluable for staff, leadership and other stakeholders to understand all aspects of the space beyond what is just shown in two-dimensional documents.
Visit our most recent blog for more info on our healthcare mockup design process (link in bio!).
