At the 2016 PDC Summit, we’ll be unveiling the findings of our thermal comfort in healthcare spaces study. Will you be there?
Comfort for All: Calibrating Thermal Comfort for Healthcare
Thermal comfort in a healthcare is particularly challenging. The ideal comfort zone of patient rooms, doctor’s spaces, waiting areas, and highly controlled environments don’t overlap creating a perpetual challenge for how hospitals can best meet the thermal comfort needs of all the key occupants. The panel will discuss the field observations and share a series of recommendations. The discussion will also cover the intersection of the WELL Building Standard, thermal comfort and healthcare design.
