The BSA’s Design Awards look beyond beautiful images and recognize sustainable design, social equity, cultural connectedness and innovation and more as design excellence. Architects and design professionals from all over convened at the BSA Design Awards Gala last night to celebrate excellence in design. Award categories ranged from Healthcare Facilities, Housing Design, Interior Architecture / Interior Design, Planning, Small Firms / Small Projects Design, Unbuilt Architecture and Design to Honor Awards and the projects honored exemplified innovation, creativity and excellence.
I was honored to attend the 2nd BSA Design Awards Gala last night with nine others from PAYETTE. Our firm was fortunate to win three Healthcare Facilities Citations and one Award for the UMass, Amherst CNS Greenhouse in the Honor Awards program.
Guests heard from Mike Davis, Peter Kuttner, Aisha Densmore-Bey as well as Jane Thompson, recipient of the BSA Award of Honor. The speakers were inspiring and it was an exciting event that brought together such an esteemed group of colleagues in one room for the evening.
