Interiors: 30 days | 30 trends (Week 4)

Over the next several weeks the PAYETTE interiors department will share interiors-related inspiration. Each day we target a specific interiors-related topic and share it via Twitter using the hashtag #interiors. At the end of each week we’ll collect the links here. Monday, 3/16: The next next bright idea (Gina Mosca)
The next next thing in lighting, OLED (organic LED) fixtures use flexible, cooler-running LED light sources with carbon-based emitters instead of the conventional silicon based devices. French company Blackbody has stunning designs which demonstrate the almost otherworldly aesthetics achievable with these light sources.

To celebrate the spirit of the Burro/Ping-Pong game tournaments coming up, I’d like to share this cool post about this teeny tiny apartment by Snarkitecture made with 25,000 ping pong balls!

Here’s a functional window treatment by Noon Blinds that becomes an ornamental screens washing a room in light patterns.
