Last week, I attended the opening reception for the Design Museum Boston’s new exhibit, Green Patriot Posters, at 315 on A, a residential apartment building in the Fort Point community.
This is the museum’s first national touring exhibition. After opening in Boston, the exhibit will travel to Berkeley, CA; Portland, OR; and Chicago, IL.
What is Green Patriot Posters?
Launched in 2008 by New York-based art collective The Canary Project, Green Patriot Posters commissions art centering on the themes of environmental justice and a sustainable economy. The project, inspired by iconic World War II propaganda posters, hopes to unite us all once again – this time to combat climate change.
The exhibit is on the first floor of 315 on A and is now free and open to the public! I strongly encourage everyone to check it out before it leaves on May 31st. For more information on the exhibit, click here.
