On August 8, we will host our second Metropolis Think Tank event led by Metropolis’s director of design innovation Susan S. Szenasy. Hear from our very own Susan Blomquist alongside other experts about the transformative power of mockup technology and community engagement in healthcare design.
Mockups and Community Engagement in Healthcare Design
The healthcare space is rapidly expanding and evolving technologically, subsequently calling for the development of new, more personalized design solutions. Using architectural mockups, architects and designers can engineer impermanent, to-scale models that core users and communities can engage and provide critical insights to ensure the design is accessible and aligned with client and project needs. Drawing on projects of different scales and serving different populations, this panel will explore what we can learn from mockups and how they can be leveraged to advance design in healthcare.
