RPI’s School of Architecture holds a semester long lecture series and next week Jim Collins visits to speak on the matter of “The Pursuit of Excellence in an Era of Resistance.” Jim’s discussion focuses on the pursuit of excellent architecture in practice. In an academic setting students are not often confronted with the tangible parameters of a project – budget, schedule, approvals, etc. Jim will delve into what excellent design looks like in practice.
