With the A’19 Conference on Architecture kicking off, held June 6-8 in Las Vegas, we polled our office to curate a list of favorite podcasts in honor of the Day 1 Keynote session featuring Roman Mars, host and creator of the 99% Invisible podcast. On Friday, June 6, he will interview Reshma Saujani, founder and CEO of Girls Who Code, 2019 AIA Whitney M. Young Jr recipient Karen Braitmayer, along with PAYETTE President Kevin Sullivan and Principal / Director of Building Scientists Andrea Love. The session will explore leaders who are disrupting norms and creating a better future including how PAYETTE is transforming the design and performance of some of the most challenging building types into a model for future practice. Our approach to practice is at the heart of the firm’s recognition with the 2019 AIA Architecture Firm Award.
We are excited that Roman Mars is moderating the discussion, as his podcast is a fan favorite in our office, especially the Amherst College New Science Center team who listened during their weekly four-hour roundtrip drive to campus!
