Turning the calendar page as we head into the New Year is a time to not only reflect on the past twelve months, but to look to the future. Multiple projects were honored with national design awards including the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Chestnut Hill, the Science and Engineering Complex at Tufts University, Northeastern University’s Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Complex and Amherst College’s New Science Center.
We have had an amazing year with incredible projects opening their doors including 245 Beacon Street at Boston College, Science One at the University of Connecticut and the Frank and Maureen Wilkens Science and Engineering Center at Cape Cod Community College. It is always an exciting moment to see projects that have been years in the making come to life. As Tom Payette always said, “Architecture is for people,” and seeing our buildings inhabited by the people we designed them for always brings with it a wonderful sense of accomplishment. We know 2023 will bring just as many, if not more, exciting moments for our projects and our clients.
Happy New Year!
