This was an exciting year for our firm at A’19. As the 2019 Architecture Firm Award recipient, we are honored to be recognized and join a long history of prestigious, high-impact firms. This award recognizes our firm’s long commitment to design excellence, improved building performance, and a culture of mentorship and equity.
After being at PAYETTE for nearly 20 years, one of the biggest honors of my career was being on stage with over 30 of my colleagues to accept the Architecture Firm Award this year. It has been such a special year for us celebrating this prestigious award. Our colleagues in the Boston design community have been so excited for us along with our colleagues at the A’19 conference.
Everyone was buzzing about the award and we had a great party and exhibition on Friday night at The Space. I had the opportunity to connect with colleagues from all over the country including many former employees and long-term consultants, who have been an integral part of our success. It was also fun to share our work with both old and new friends at the convention.
At this year’s 2019 AIA Conference in Las Vegas we also had eight staff members speaking about five different topics. We were also honored to accept an AIA COTE Top Ten Award for both our New Science Center at Amherst College and Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Complex at Northeastern University and thrilled to see Wes Schwartz receive the 2019 AIA Young Architect Award!
It was an exciting, fun and invigorating few days, and thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate the 2019 AIA Architecture Firm Award with PAYETTE.
We`re thrilled to share the latest on our new Life Sciences Building at Johns Hopkins University. The 500,000-square-foot research hub will bring together over 920 scientists from five different schools.
