PAYETTE’s Women in Design (WiD) group was initiated in 2001 by Sho-Ping Chin, former Principal and long-time advocate for women in architecture and design. This year, Elizabeth Cox joins Elizabeth Cooney as co-chair, with Sarah Lindenfeld serving as the Principal Advisor. We are all honored to carry on Sho-Ping’s legacy as champions for women as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of WiD!
The group promotes the professional development and advancement of women at PAYETTE through regular dialogues that encourage teamwork, collaboration and learning in an atmosphere of collegiality. The group’s primary goal is to provide a forum for professional interests and common concerns in order to advance the professional careers of women in the firm.
To celebrate this 20-year milestone, we will feature the many contributions of women at PAYETTE throughout the year. Look for highlights on design, marketing, technology, building science and all the related work it takes to produce beautiful buildings of noble purpose.
