At PAYETTE, we leverage our in-house fabrication capabilities to build mock-ups and models as part of the design process. PBLT-15 Precision Board HDU is a staple in our material inventory for CNC-machining, used for everything from topographical models to full-scale façade studies. Our Fabrication Director, Parke MacDowell, recently spoke to Coastal Enterprises about the value of Precision Board in our practice for its easy-machining and low environmental impact. Most recently, we’ve used this product to create panels to study sound diffusion in our FabLAB.
