PAYETTE ranked 9th in sustainability in The Architect 50 and 14th overall, as determined by ARCHITECT Magazine. Now in its seventh year, the Architect 50 is a qualitative look at how firms stack up across a broad range of categories from business to sustainability to design. The Architect 50 seeks to answer the question: which firm had the best year? Firms self-submit to the open call for entries and are ranked through answers to questions covering a variety of topics: business, sustainability and design excellence.
Rankings in sustainability were determined by participation in the AIA’s 2030 Commitment, projects meeting 2030 targets, percentage of firm’s employees with LEED AP or Green Associate credentials and a green project overview that best demonstrated a firm’s commitment to sustainability. We’re excited about the emphasis we see throughout the profession on the importance of designing sustainable projects. With our focus on laboratories and healthcare environments, we remain committed to making a sustainable impact with these buildings by carefully modeling energy reduction strategies.
