
Since joining PAYETTE in 2005, Wes has demonstrated a wide range of design skills and technical knowledge across award-winning project work in both healthcare and research typologies. He recently led the design of the envelope for the Northeastern University Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Complex. With project roles spanning all aspects of planning, design and construction, Wes has been particularly influential in the design, technical development and graphic documentation of highly complex facade systems.
He was an early leader in the use of SketchUp and Revit at PAYETTE and is now leading the use of parametric modeling for analysis and documentation.
Wes is very active in professional activities inside and outside the firm, conducting architectural forum discussions in the office and speaking at trade conferences. Wes has been an active Studio Instructor at the Boston Architectural College teaching undergraduate design studios for over ten years and serving as a critic and lecturer for the distance masters program.
