Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center Children’s Hospital has come a long way since we included it in our “Under Construction” update in April. Tuesday marked the official Building Dedication at which firm Principals, Leon Drachman, AIA and Kevin B. Sullivan, FAIA, spoke. Leon and Kevin spoke regarding the completion of the master plan effort, which includes the Clinical Quadrangle, Cancer Institute and Children’s Hospital. Other speakers included Lt. Gov. James Cawley, Highmark CEO William Winkenwerder, Congressman Charlie Dent and state Rep. John Payne as well as Children’s Hospital patient families.
On Saturday, November 17, the Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center held a Community Celebration welcoming the public into the new building with tours, entertainment and refreshments.
