Further project contributions include UConn’s Science 1 Research Center, the DCAMM Department of Public Health renovation and the Hengqin Hospital Campus Master Plan. SANDRINE HEROUX, aIA
Promoted to Associate / Fabrication Manager
Sandrine joined PAYETTE in 2020, soon after receiving her MS Arch. degree, where her keen interest in parametric design, complex concrete casting and architectural acoustic performance was explored through fabrication in her thesis. She has run several small design-build projects from start to finish, demonstrating strong leadership skills and expertise. She is instrumental in mentoring staff and teaching students from the OpenLAB Studio, helping investigate not just the conceptualization, but also the physical realization of design. Sandrine often collaborates with different teams, moving from one type of machinery and materials to another, learning different fabrication strategies and craftsmanship techniques along the way.
