Kevin B. Sullivan, FAIA
Promoted to President
With 26 years of experience at the firm, Kevin steps into the role of President. His body of work includes seminal healthcare, science and campus planning projects, which have been consistently recognized nationally for their attention to detail, social geometry and the integration of the landscape into transformative spaces. He brings architecture of the highest level to spaces in which people experience some of life’s most significant moments, balancing technical pragmatism with creative design vision. Since his promotion to Principal in 1998, Kevin has helped define PAYETTE’s exemplary model of practice. In 1998, he was the recipient of the Boston Society of Architects Young Architects Award for Design and, in 2012, Kevin was elevated to the AIA College of Fellows in recognition of his achievements in design. Kevin received a B.Arch from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and a M.Arch from Harvard University.
STUDIO LEADERSHIP
Three years ago, PAYETTE relocated from a 6-story brick and beam building into an open office on a single large floor. In 2014, our initial vision of enhanced collaboration among three design studios will transform into a robust model of collaboration within a single design studio. In conjunction with this change to our internal structure, a new group of Studio Leaders, consisting of current Associate Principals, has been established to effect this transformation and coordinate our day-to-day activities. Hand-picked for their proven creativity, technical expertise and leadership skills, this group will ensure that we deliver the services and the qualities that define us as a progressive and innovative design firm.
