This week we’re hosting a R&D showcase, a behind-the-scenes look at our research and development processes and outcomes of our findings. We’ll be sharing artifacts constructed in our FabLAB, design discoveries unearthed through Virtual Reality, the findings of some of our research efforts, and unveiling a web-based Building Science tool we developed. The research arm of our practice has been fully integrated into our design studio for over five years and we’re excited to share some of what we’ve discovered in that time and how those deep dive investigations have shaped our practice.
At this event, our guests will be the first to preview and test our new publicly available web-based tool that allows designers to evaluate glazing design and performance in your design through the lens of occupant thermal comfort. Guests will also be able to take a virtual walk through one of our projects, and try out some of the tools that we have used in our research endeavors.
