How to Develop a Fabrication Lab for Architectural Practice
Geometric and tectonic explorations using in-house fabrication labs are useful as internal design tools and as a powerful means of communicating complex design intents to clients and builders. In-house fabrication capabilities sponsor a feedback loop between design and construction processes, challenging developing architectural concepts with the rigors of physical production in an immediate and informative way.

This session will illustrate the advantages of integrating a fabrication lab into your design practice, providing you the ability to rapidly mock up geometric tests and construction details to benefit your process and your clients.­
