Next month, PAYETTE Building Scientist Chris Mackey will be leading workshops on parametric environmental modeling at Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects in Copenhagen and Aahus, Denmark.
Chris, a co-founder of the Grasshopper environmental plug-in Ladybug along with Mostapha Sadeighpour Roudsari, will address several misconceptions about parametric environmental modeling and discussed its true potential for supporting an iterative design process. He will present his personal journey through the hype cycle of parametric modeling and shared lessons they have learned from developing Ladybug Tools. Chris will also share their plans for the future of Ladybug Tools and what is currently under development.
Workshop Topics:
- Parametric Environmental Modeling
- Parametric Daylight Modeling
- Energy Modeling for Passive Design
- Energy Modeling for Heating/Cooling Systems
- Automated Iterative Modeling and Analysis
