Congratulations to the University of Massachusetts Amherst Sustainable Engineering Laboratories project team on earning the grand prize at the Embodied Carbon Challenge sponsored by MassCEC and Built Environments Plus. The winning submission included the extensive sustainable strategies being pursued by the project to meet the University’s goal for a net zero operational and embodied carbon building.
We spent a special evening celebrating the opening of Land`s Sake Farmstand. The evening included pick-your own flowers, a bluegrass band, farm-grown veggies and a project very dear to us!
