If you’re interested in attending one of the Boston Society of Architects‘ many great events, you can catch PAYETTE’s own Building Scientist Chris Mackey at their upcoming AIA Committee on the Environment Roundtable on February 21.
AIA 2030 Commitment Roundtable: When Projected and Real Data Collide
The BSA Committee on the Environment hosts its annual presentation and discussion on the 2030 Challenge, and takes the previous year into review to show how Boston firms are performing against national averages. This year takes on an additional dimension as we explore some preliminary mapping efforts to visualize the City of Boston’s energy reporting data from large facilities through the BERDO program, and discuss the potential links between the projections of 2030 Challenge data and actual performance.
There will be something for 2030 newbies and veterans alike. We will have Kevin Settlemyre from Sustainable IQ to talk about the new feature of the DDx platform; Giovanna Araujo from MASS Design Group relaying experiences from their first year of reporting; Ethan Lay-Sleeper from Sasaki and Chris Mackey Assoc. AIA from PAYETTE reviewing their BERDO data mapping tool; and Jamie Newhouse from ICON Architecture will review how Boston firms participating in the 2030 Challenge are performing.
