The waterfront in the City of Lynn represents an opportunity to help reshape the city’s image, add value to the local economy and create a sense of place that is desirable and welcoming. PAYETTE has joined Beyond Walls, along with Brown, Richardson and Row, Perkins+Will, LAM Partners to help bring this project to life.
The project, affectionately named “The Launch,” will include five-story towers of art installations, a stage of live music and theater, a multi-use futsal court, beer gardens, parklet seating, a children’s playground, pop up vendors and amenities all on the waterfront!
In 2017, PAYETTE partnered with MassDevelopment, Patronicity and Beyond Walls to brighten the City of Lynn – one of Massachusetts’ 26 Gateway Cities with installations including murals, vintage signs and dynamic, colorful and programmable LED lighting installations. These once-avoided areas have become vibrant landmarks in downtown Lynn, where people feel safe and welcome.
Fundraising is open until June 30, and if the $50,000 goal is met, MassDevelopment will MATCH the funds with an additional $50,000.
