The soul of our practice resides in its people, and we are always looking for ways to cultivate emerging talent and professionals. We really enjoy our active internship program that brings multiple interns to join our team throughout the year for typically a semester at time. Today, we wanted to introduce some of our interns working alongside us this summer.
I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Data Science at Columbia University. Data Science is a combined topic of computer science and statistics. Within my degree program, we cover statistical inference, machine learning, deep learning etc. I chose this path because I’m fascinated by how information from data can be used to improve tasks from almost all kinds of fields. During my free time, I like to eat, take photos and sketch. As well, my friend and I have a shared Instagram account to post photos from when we go out to eat, and on occasion, I ad hand-drawn sketches on top of the photos to make them more interesting.
Currently, I am working towards my M.Arch in the Architecture + Health program at Clemson University. I’ve always wanted to study how architecture design can influence physical health and mental well-being, and joining the A+H program has provided me with the opportunity to do so. Since childhood, I’ve loved sketching and it still brings me a lot of joy in my busy school life.
I am originally from Shanghai, China, I attend Clemson University, working towards my Master of Architecture and Health degree. It is a program that specializes in healthcare architecture design. I chose this path out of curiosity for hospice care and autonomy consideration in hospitals. When I have free time, I usually enjoy eating and cycling.
