Earlier this year, the Bates College team celebrated a significant milestone with an official groundbreaking ceremony for the new 54,000 SF Bonney Science Center. The new building will house programs for biology, chemistry and neuroscience, as well as shared laboratory space. Having worked with the faculty and STEM-facilities planning committee, the design is intended to encourage interactive research and study among students and faculty alike.
With construction underway and expectations for the building to open in Fall 2021, the Sun Journal recently captured a few aerial views of the construction process thus far.
