Destined to be a new urban landmark, PedX, the pedestrian bridge that links Northeastern University’s new science and engineering precinct to the main campus was featured in this month’s issue of Modern Steel. “Bridging the Gap between Designer and Builder” captures the complexity of the design process and coordination required at every scale, from urban city block to bolt. The article also highlights how every trade and team innovatively approached an intricate knot of challenges to realize the design vision for the bridge. Walking it is a moving architectural experience.
