Working integrally with the architectural teams, our Interior Designers excel at developing strong interior concepts to reflect the architecture of each project. To strengthen the interior experience, our approach is driven by defining design principles that align with our clients’ goals and philosophies. The architectural language informs and drives our approach to design, material selection and application. The interior experience is further reinforced by creating purposeful spaces through organic furniture layouts strategically harmonized with architectural elements.
Collectively, the Interiors team has a breadth of experience with each member displaying creative strengths and contributions. Our experience allows for opportunities to influence each project we touch. We strive to design lively spaces supporting the functions and needs of the occupants, whether a research laboratory, academic building or hospital. By instituting a ‘people first’ approach to design, we are primed to build purposeful & flexible communities to promote interaction, connectivity and well-being.
Heightened project collaboration maximizes our opportunity to curate dynamic interior environments that mirror the overall building concept. As the architectural design develops, the Interior Design progress is concurrently influenced by concepts which focus on wellness, environmental design and innovative ideas.
An exciting aspect of the job is researching materials, color and trends before incorporating the most relevant recommendations into a unique palette. By adhering to our Materials Policy, we know our environmental design solutions become a guiding factor in how we develop a palette. We care about the impact our buildings have on their occupants and know the materials we choose influence environmental and human health within our work.
