Two major buildings for two Children’s Hospitals are about to be completed: The James Mandell Building for Boston Children’s Hospital will open in early 2013, and the new building for Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Children’s Hospital is scheduled to open later this year. They will serve two different institutions, located in very different settings, serving different purposes. However, they will both embody principles and beliefs that PAYETTE has been practicing for decades: functional workplaces that will allow caregivers to thrive as they help others, environments that will uplift young patients and their families as they go through difficult times and indoor spaces that will embrace the natural world outside when they most need it. We know these two buildings will transform their campuses. But more importantly, we are proud of the meaningful difference they will make in people’s lives.
