PAYETTE Slinky

Earlier this month PAYETTE competed in Canstruction Boston 2012 with a slinky and received the People’s Choice Award! The 2012 Canstruction Boston theme was “Fun and Games.”

Described as “a community service project benefiting thousands of hungry people as it spotlights the design and construction industry giving back to the communities it helps build,” Canstruction is a competition where everyone wins. All sculptures from Canstruction Boston are on display at the Boston Society of Architects at Atlantic Warf until November 1.

DeCanstruction is Nov 3, 8-11 am, volunteers welcome.

In honor of the winning slinky, we’ve written our own slinky theme song:
Eating your vegetables isn’t child’s play – or is it?
[whistling]
What walks down stairs, in pods or in pairs?
They’re small and they’re green and they’re round.
They’re Sweet Peas;
They’re Sweet peas they’re fun and an edible joy!
