Monday, 3/30: Quirky Graphical Carpet (Gina Mosca)
This story via Slate is about how a quirky graphical carpet pattern managed to become an iconic symbol for Portland, OR residents. As they say, “The dream of the 90s is alive in Portland.”

Tuesday, 3/31: Airbnb Turns a Ski Lift Above the French Alps into a One-Night Crash Pad (Amber Ghory, IIDA, LEED AP)
The accommodation was offered earlier this year as a part of Airbnb’s “A Night At” initiative, which gave guests the opportunity to stay in unconventional places. Winning entrant had to explain in 100 words why they wanted to stay at the top of Saulire. It’s unclear what happens to this space now that the contest is over.

Wednesday, 4/1: Nature Photography (Erin Polansky, IIDA, LEED AP)
Nature photography at a new level – a beautiful combination of abstract and detail in one composition.

Thursday, 4/2: Best New American Makers (Amanda Holmen, MSLIS)
I found “The Best New American Makers” series from Metropolis Magazine [March 2015] very inspiring. I loved the craftsmanship and detail in design.

Friday, 4/3: Inspired by Arktura (Mary Gallagher, IIDA, LEED AP)
