This past weekend marked the fifth biennial AIA Women’s Leadership Summit. This two-day event grew out of an initiative originating in Boston under the leadership of Sho-Ping Chin FAIA. Sean David Burke published a summary of the weekend’s events for Architect Magazine in Carve Your Own Path and Other Takeaways From AIA WLS 2015. In 2006, Sho-Ping founded the Women Principals Group through the Boston Society of Architects and from that effort grew the Women’s Leadership Summit. At the conference this year, Heather Taylor AIA presented a video about Sho-Ping’s career and influence on the profession produced by the Women Principals Group at the Boston Society of Architects and Duncan Lake.
The video includes interviews with colleagues at PAYETTE as well as the original members of the Women Principals Group.
