We are thrilled to announce that we have been selected by Lafayette College to begin the planning and design of their new Integrated Science Center (ISC). The ISC will include biology, computer science, environmental science, expansion space for neuroscience and the IDEAL program, an entrepreneurship program connecting engineering and the liberal arts to solve real-world problems.
The Lafayette campus is very beautiful, with a distinct sense of place, occupying a prominent hilltop above Easton, Pennsylvania and the Delaware River. The campus has a sense of order, yet it is not formal. There is a high level of quality in the building stock and in the landscape that unites it. There are a variety of open spaces, some being quad-like and others courtyards and lawns.
Throughout the proposal and interview process, the team developed a variety of design ideas that we used to help the client visualize our design process. We are excited to start working with the College to begin the design and planning for such an important project.
