On April 12, 2016, the Harvard Gazette featured our Harvard Memorial Church Renovation project as the historic building is set to close for construction following graduation commencement next month.
Harvard’s Memorial Church is one the most prominent buildings on the Harvard University campus as it is positioned in Harvard Yard. It is located opposite Widener Library in Tercentenary Theatre, and the building serves regularly as house of worship and as a focus for key events. It is where first-year students are welcomed during Convocation, and it serves as the backdrop for Commencement. The renovation marks the first significant renovation in more than 30 years.
The renovation will include accessibility and safety compliance upgrades, a reconfigured lower level and a new climate-control system to allow for improved use of the church year-round.
Prior to the Memorial Church Renovation, we previously worked with Harvard University on the renovation of the Harvard Art Museums.
