With the Design Museum Boston Urban Innovation Festival just weeks away, the excitement is building at PAYETTE as we are gearing up to compete in the urban hack-a-thon on July 29-31.
The three-day urban hack-a-thon will be tackling challenges surrounding the revitalization of the I-93 overpass, as the ten teams competing will be designing urban solutions in front of the public. The event will give the community an opportunity to observe the design process first-hand and have a voice in the solution by providing feedback to the teams.
Teams competing in the design challenge feature a diverse group of engineers, designers, architects and innovators including PAYETTE, Autodesk, Essential Design, Shepley Bulfinch, Fidelity Labs, Wentworth Institute of Technology, CBT Architects, MassArt, Bose and Stantec.
