PAYETTE is one of 27 teams participating in the upcoming CANstruction Boston, which takes place this weekend at the Boston Society of Architects and Atlantic Wharf lobbies. Now in our 17th year of participation, we are looking forward to the challenge of building our structure and contributing towards this great cause. CANstruction Boston benefits the Merrimack Valley Food Bank in Lowell, Massachusetts and has donated over 800,000 pounds of food since its founding in 1995.
To determine our entry for this year’s theme, Journey into Space, we held an office-wide call for ideas and a vote. The proposals ranged from classic space concepts to cultural references spanning seven decades. Fast forward to this week and almost everything is ready to go, with just a few more pieces to finish.

Standing just short of 10 feet and totaling 5,034 cans of Trader Joe’s Black Beans and Chicken Noodle Soup, our entry will be a sight for all to see. Excited to find out which idea won? Come by to the Nelson Court Atrium at 280 Congress Street to see the final structure!
Event Schedule:
