
Andrea joined Payette in 2011. She provides sustainable design knowledge and energy expertise to our projects by combining her background in architectural practice and building science to bridge the divide between the rigor of building performance and the art of integrating those ideas into a cohesive design. She provides performance simulations to give the project team a better understanding of the impact of design strategies and researches innovative solutions for improved building performance. She works on multiple projects across the firm, serving as a connecting thread amongst project teams and a vehicle to cull the best ideas from across the firm. Andrea teaches a course on building envelope performance every fall semester at MIT and serves on the Steering Committee for the USGBC Massachusetts Chapter.
