Equity by Design (EQxD) Symposium is now just one month away! Held at the San Francisco Art Institute, the fourth annual symposium is organized by members of the AIA San Francisco. The one-day event is focused on achieving equitable practice in architecture in order to retain talent, advance the profession and engage the public in understanding architecture’s true value and impact. At the event on October 29, you can hear from our Communications Editor Karen Robichaud as she leads a discussion on Agents of Change.
Agents of Change – Tools, Techniques and Scalability
In this session we will explore what it means to be an agent of change – in school, in the workplace and at large institutions. From three different perspectives, gain an understanding of how an individual can leverage their skill sets to implement real change. What are some of the large and small interventions that have a big impact? How can the individual scale their efforts for an even bigger impact? This sessions addresses tools and techniques to tap into and offers participants an opportunity to put those skills in to practice in this hands-on workshop.
