The success and popularity of co-op programs like those at University of Cincinnati and Northeastern University and the integrative experience at University of Massachusetts Amherst illustrate how many institutions are adopting programs that integrate academic, curricular, and co-curricular opportunities through active/experiential learning. This session offers examples of how two very different institutions expanded and integrated curricular and co-curricular experiential learning opportunities and looks at how these programs are affecting the institutions’ academic, facilities, and fiscal planning.
