The renderings and panorama developed for MGH Danvers Linear Accelerator project aided the design team in visualizing the space, as well as giving the users comfort with the finishes and ceiling feature, before any part of the project was built.
Unlike a still rendering, a panorama provides the user a real-time, first person simulation of moving within the room, which gives them a better sense of the operational flow between supporting equipment, supplies, and the patient.
Viewing the room prior to construction helped us to position the ceiling feature appropriately in the room, avoiding any conflicts with the required equipment, while meeting the needs of MGH to provide the patient a point of focus during their treatment.
