PAYETTE Launches Design for Dining Project

PAYETTE has been invited to participate in a unique design exercise in collaboration with Design Museum Boston and The Merchant in downtown Boston.

The design brief asks teams to conceptualize and build a dining experience within the restaurant as part of a series of wider interventions in the Downtown Crossing neighborhood under the organization of the Design Museum Boston. Our design team at PAYETTE has recently begun a series of group working sessions with The Merchant Restaurant and Design Museum Boston in tandem with internal charrettes to develop the dining experience, which will installed early this summer. We already put together a quick time-lapse video of our first charrette!

Alongside the physical installation, PAYETTE will create digital documents to highlight the design process that will live in perpetuity on the Design Museum Boston website.

Installations will remain for six months.
