We believe in building a more equitable, diverse and inclusive design practice to achieve the best and strongest design solutions. Equity means the fair treatment, access, opportunity and advancement of all individuals. Diversity is the quality of difference among individuals, and the celebration of the differences that they represent. Inclusion means fostering a culture of engaged and diverse individuals.
Our clients and the communities we serve are some of the most progressive and diverse in the industry, and we expect no less of ourselves. Diversity is about moving beyond perceived limits and stereotypes of gender, race, religion, sexuality, age, physical abilities and culture to form the best possible team of professionals dedicated to their work and our clients.
In order to meet this challenge, we are developing an Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan. By embracing and increasing diversity, in all levels of our firm and in all aspects of our design teams, while increasing staff literacy and awareness around the issues of equitable practice, we will create a stronger, more relevant and more vibrant practice.
