PAYETTE is actively participating in bike week and hit the streets of South Boston for a lunchtime bike ride yesterday. Our presence was felt as the procession made it’s way out to Castle Island for lunch. It was a perfect lunchtime escape! We’ve greatly enjoyed the Bay State Bike Week Challenge and the opportunity to get some fresh air during the work day. After our bike tour, we’ve logged 262 miles, with 12 particpants, averaging nearly 22 miles per person!
What interesting neighborhoods can you explore near your workplaces and homes? Do you encounter any interesting, historical or thought provoking architecture? Our lunchtime ride took us past the Institute of Contemporary Art, the carefully landscaped Eastport Park and the historic Castle Island.
