What We Are Thankful For

Our annual PAYETTE Thanksgiving Potluck event, brings us together as colleagues and friends, giving us an opportunity to reflect on the many things we are grateful for. This year has been an exciting year at PAYETTE. We have been honored with multiple national design awards for some fantastic projects. Another group of Virginia Tech students joined us for the fall semester, bringing inquisitiveness and new energy to the office. We have wonderful clients who we get to work with every day, bringing their projects to life.

But perhaps what we are most thankful for this year is the legacy of Tom Payette, who remains integral to our firm culture and the practice of architecture. Tom, who recently passed away, was a friend and mentor to many of us in the firm. We will be forever grateful for the impact he had not only on us as individuals, but also the firm and the greater architectural community. He will be missed, but his spirit will continue to live on.
