Take a tour through the 2012 renovated Work Café at the Steelcase Headquarters in Grand Rapids. The design idea here conceptually connects people and the workplace around the social aspects of food.

This style allows us to always remember the classics. Herman Miller has introduced this iconic molded side chair in a veneer. It’s beautiful.
Thursday, 6/27: ideapaint + powder = INNOVATION
Dry erase surfaces can exist beyond just a wall application. Check out IDEAPAINT POWDER, a new powder coat applied to a metal substrate which can then be used as a dry erase surface.

Northeastern EXP features an organic pinwheel design, shaping research and classroom neighborhoods with shared community spaces radiating from the core to define each area. The building façade was tuned to achieve a 78% reduction in peak solar heat gain and a 62% reduction in cumulative solar radiation leading to energy use reductions and reduced mechanical system sizing. The use of stainless steel further leads to an embodied carbon reduction of almost one million tons when compared to aluminum while the natural stainless surface reflects light in a natural and warm tone giving the building an inherent energy.
